NAXOS DISKUS Schleifmittelwerke GmbH was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1871. Today, the company manufactures precision grinding tools for a wide range of applications. The products primarily comprise grinding tools for double-sided surface grinding, external cylindrical grinding, centerless grinding, and gear grinding. Depending on the application, the grinding tools are made from conventional abrasive grit through to ultra-hard cutting materials such as CBN and diamonds.
As a system partner, NAXOS works closely with DVS grindingmachine manufacturers to develop individual tool solutions.
